CASE STUDY 01
Emma & Ray
Designers Emma and Ray had a cinematic vision for their wedding: a non-accidentally Wes Anderson banquet. We transformed the Lea Boathouse into a scene from The Grand Budapest Hotel, with a colour palette of candy pinks and baby blues straight out of the movie and an attention to detail that Wes would be proud of. As well as creating a bespoke half-Vietnamese, half-British menu to reflect the couple’s heritage, featuring dishes such as crispy pork belly with XO sauce, mini pavlovas with yuzu curd, and late-night dirty egg-fried rice, we worked in place of a planner on everything from tablescaping to event management, leaving them free to live their Wes Anderson fantasy.

CASE STUDY 02
Alex & Matt
Wilderness Festival, eat your heart out. For Alex and Matt’s intimate countryside celebration, we hosted a mini-festival in the family’s back garden, creating a pop-up kitchen and fairytale marquee from the ground up and filling it with foliage, fairy lights and festivities. The full two-day service for 150 people included a champagne reception with canapés, three-course meal and wedding cake, late-night cheese toasties and bacon butties, and even a next-day barbecue feast, where we nursed the (many) hangovers with bloody marys and baps.

CASE STUDY 03
Margot & Cagdas
No frills, just flowers. For fashionable couple Margot and Cagdas, we reimagined Core Clapton as a bright, white and minimalist space where single flowers adorned the tables and hung from the ceiling. The only thing maximalist was the menu: a sharing smorgasbord of sumac chicken and chermoula aubergine with jewelled ancient grains, sour cherries and almonds, a pudding table laden with brownies, profiteroles, dulche de leche cheesecake, baklava and turkish delight, and a delightfully oversized wedding cake.
