We believe in the power of food for positive change

Our mission to do more. To build a brave new era of food for positive change, we need to do more than be sustainable, we need to get creative. We gather the ingredients. The absolute essentials: sustainable, locally-sourced produce, planet-friendly menus, and a lighter environmental footprint.

We work closely with each of our suppliers to understand their stories, ensuring we get incredible ingredients and make the most of everything they provide. Our offerings include vegan and vegetarian menus, reusable packaging, and delivery via a zero-emissions electric van.

Our goal is to create spaces that delight, challenge, and change perceptions through food.

Our mission to do more

Our Sharing Plates initiative operates on a simple principle: for every catering order we take, we offer our clients the option to add extra meals for those in need. Our motivation for establishing Sharing Plates stemmed from witnessing the stark reality of people going hungry in one of the world’s richest capital cities. It's a paradox that, while increasing numbers go hungry, ten million tonnes of food are wasted in Britain every year.

Thanks to our thriving catering business, we have the facilities and expertise to create and action change. We seek out food donations where we can, in order to repurpose items that would otherwise go to waste and our partnership with The Felix Project has helped to administer this. We turn these ingredients into high quality and nutritious meals for hungry Londoner's and deliver it to them, locally.

We offer participation in this initiative to all our clients, so far we have seen a great response from Vodafone, CP Hart and Yahoo who have all contributed to the scheme.

We set the table

Then we go a little further, improvising, innovating and using our creativity to amplify our narrative of food for positive change.

The Wasted supper club is a unique zero waste dining experience that we regularly host to champion sustainability, creativity and education around food waste. The evening is a spectacle and a revelation, our chefs live cook using surplus ingredients brought by the guests themselves. These are items at risk of going to waste or unloved at the back of the cupboard and there is surprise and delight when they are transformed into a delicious and vibrant sharable feast.

We can bring this immersive planet forward supperclub concept to you and your event, get in touch if you would like to find out more.

We spark the change

Our long-held ambition is to open a Dinner Ladies Academy, where we can educate chefs, change-makers, and the wider community. We envision a dynamic learning environment where culinary skills are honed, innovative ideas are born, and sustainable practices are championed.

At the Dinner Ladies Academy, we will:

Educate Chefs: Provide hands-on training and mentorship to aspiring chefs, equipping them with the skills and creativity needed to excel in the culinary world.

Empower Change-Makers: Inspire and empower individuals who are passionate about transforming the food industry, fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability.

Engage the Community: Create a space where the community can come together to learn about healthy, sustainable eating, and collaborate on projects that make a positive impact.

By bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise, we aim to dream up bold new possibilities that will shape the future of dining and catering. The Dinner Ladies Academy will be a hub of creativity, education, and community engagement, driving meaningful change in the culinary world.
