The Perfect St Paddy’s Day Party

It might be said that we are slightly biased (ahem) in this opinion BUT, the Irish are without doubt unparalleled when it comes to the art of partying. The Emerald Isle is home to some of the best produce, beverages and let’s face it music – yes Bewitched we mean you – a combination of ingredients making it the winning nation when it comes to having a good time.

So whether you hail from Eire or you're just an admirer wanting to join in the festivities we have a few tips on how to enjoy St Patrick’s Day this Sunday!

London Tips

Best Eats

Something Cheap and Cheerful – Emeralds Eats Street Food  (Broadway Market & Various Kerb Markets)

Emerald Eats has just recently joined the KERB group as part of their female founders inKerbator programme. These guys are putting Irish street food on the map! Their chicken fillet roll is a must-try.

Something A Bit Fancy - Myrtle Restaurant (Chelsea)

Nestled amidst the affluent streets of Chelsea, you will find Dublin-born chef Anna Haugh’s beautiful restaurant Myrtle. The menus focus on seasonal Irish produce, coining their service style as ‘modern Irish hospitality’. This is the perfect place to go if you want to do something a little bit special!

Something Bespoke - Dinner Ladies (Camden)

We couldn’t write this without giving ourselves a little shout-out! Especially to our Irish-born Founder Emily. Whether it’s green-themed canapes for your St Patrick’s Day Party or an immersive Irish-themed dinner party, we have you covered.

3 Best Irish Pubs

The Churchill (Notting Hill)

If you have never been to this iconic establishment, you almost certainly will have seen images of it. This beautiful Irish-run pub, known for its extensive collection of hanging plants that adorn the front, is a great place to go to enjoy a Guinness and take in all the wonderful and weird trinkets collected by the landlord. They also have a fantastic Thai restaurant in the back.

Colin Campbell (Kilburn)

Unsurprisingly on this list is The Colin Campbell. This is an Irish institution in London. If you want an authentic Patrick’s Day experience, this is the place to go.

Coach and Horses in Covent Garden

This great little pub is situated in the heart of Covent Garden, meaning it gets pretty busy, but don’t let this put you off! It’s always got a great buzz, does the best Guinness and has some really wonderful imagery of Ireland hurling teams hanging on its walls!
